Because the World Wide Web has become such an important environment for teaching and learning, all faculty should have, in addition to desktop graphical access to the Web, a suite of tools for developing resources in the Web environment. These include the most current version of a World Wide Web client program (such as Netscape or Mosaic), an easy to use HTML editor, HTML filter and conversion programs, and graphics manipulation software.
